Project: legal communications to push for accountability and justice
Brooke led Open Society Justice Initiative’s communications strategy to push the U.S. government to release its records on the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. She kept up the public pressure for accountability and press freedom during a two-year Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.
Brooke worked closely with advocates to define goals and translate them into creative and traditional strategies that secured top-tier earned media, including the New York Times, Washington Post and NPR.
